These early formations to our construction come from many different areas as we as humans absorb much material. The modelling we get from parents, significant others etc. Attributions, suggestions, non-verbal communications and our general environment. These impact how we think and behave and can drive us to fulfill a frame of reference (how we see the world and our lives) that we are not even aware of. If find it very “mind overwhelm” that this is true . In fact through my professional life i have put obstacles and questioning in front of this. However, both personally and professionally i have seen people live out life script. The power and compulsions that can drive us and have consequences.

I have also questioned, resisted and experienced the “mind overwhelm” that my life has been played out with these drivers. I have also experienced the complaints and regrets “Oh why, oh why couldn’t I have had more insight in the past? Even some self compassion in the past rather than self-centredness and self- flagulation?!” The energy of life is there and will express itself – that is a given. Though life scripts are understood with reference to the past, that understanding can be applied to the present and dealing practically with life as it is now. ( I re-read a bit on Jung and was struck by the power of Archetypes and the Unconscious as a different approach to the same subject)
I think that Jung is very relevant to the life script. It is all about psychodynamic process, i am really pleased that you have engaged in this. I think it will offer you something with a deeper awareness that can help understanding.
